St. Clement Youth (SCY) is a group of teens in grades 8-12 who, together, serve and praise God while strengthening their faith life through prayer, service and friendship.

The most visible and consistent gathering is the weekly 6pm Sunday Mass, which offers a comfortable, up-beat liturgical setting for the youth to come together and receive the Eucharist. Other events flow from this prayerful connection, especially Faith Nights. Taking place following the 6pm Mass, Faith Nights offer a dynamic reflection on a faith topic led by a teen peer minister or a member of the adult youth council. Faith Nights conclude around 9pm with dinner provided by Drago's Seafood Restaurant.

Other events emphasize service, social or sports. The group regularly feeds the hungry, visits local nursing homes, and assists in the parish's St. Anthony Ministry. It is also a normal participant in Archdiocese of New Orleans CYO sports leagues, including volleyball, football and cabbageball.

Another important aspect of SCY (skī) is the group's participation in archdiocesan youth events. These events allow St. Clement's teens to meet and be encouraged by their peers from all across the Greater New Orleans Area.

Membership is open to all teenaged boys and girls in grades 8-12. If you are interested in joining, please join us for 6pm Mass and a Faith Night.
