St. Clement's CYO is a group of teens in grades 8-12 who together serve and praise God while strengthening their faith life through prayer, service, and friendship. We offer many opportunities for all high schoolers in our parish. High school teens are invited and encouraged to sign up for a small group. These groups meet weekly and are led by young adults in the parish. Groups focus on different aspects of their faith, based on each particular group's desires and interests. Some examples include Bible study, faith-related "hot topics," prayer, or just having fun and building community.
Interested teens can sign up here and start a group with their friends on a day and time that is convenient for them!
Our CYO also meets as a large group once a month on Sundays. Check the bulletin and newsletter for upcoming dates.
Other events include service, social, spiritual, and sports events. St. Clement's CYO is also a regular participant in the Archdiocese CYO sports leagues. These include volleyball, basketball, football, and cabbage ball. Another important aspect of CYO is the group's participation in Archdiocesan youth events like World Youth Day and Abbey Youth Fest. We also have an annual Summer Mission trip that is important in forming our Youth to be disciples of Christ.
Our CYO also periodically participates in trips like NCYC, and March for Life. These events allow St. Clement's teens to meet and be encouraged by their peers, not only in the New Orleans area but all over the country!
